Akinlade to Baales: I will celebrate with you as governor next year

The Ogun APM governorship candidate, Hon. Adekunle AbdulKabir Akinlade, said he would celebrate next year's Oko Ilu Day with Baales in Ogun State as the next governor of the state.

Akinlade, fondly addressed as Triple A, disclosed this today while addressing Baales in Ogun State during this year's Oko Ilu Day celebration held at Frontier Hotel, Ilaro, Ogun State.

The leading governorship hopeful, who was represented by the head of 'Triple A Team', Chief Olayinka Akinsanya, appreciated the Baales for their supports, saying he would not take such for granted.

He assured them of his determination to strengthen the traditional institution by ensuring the elevation of more Baales and seeing to their welfare.

At the event, Akinlade donated a cash of N1.5m, urging the Ogun State Council of Baales to accept it as a token of his support for the annual Oko Ilu Day celebration.

In their reactions, the Baales assured Akinlade of their unalloyed loyalty, adding they would not let him down.
