A call has gone to all Ipokia youths to celebrate the Eid-Il-Kabeer festival in a peaceful manner, charging them to pray for the development of Ipokia, Ogun and Nigeria in general.
This charge was made by the Chairman of Ipokia Youth Development Council (IPYDC), Comrade Nurudeen Oduntan in his Sallah message to all Ipokia youths.
Oduntan congratulated all indigenes of Ipokia for the opportunity given to them to witness yet another Ileya festival.
The youth leader appealed to them to ruminate on the lessons inherent in the festival and bring that to bear on their actions before, during and after the celebration.
He charged them to remain calm and be positive in their thinking as Ipokia is looking forward to a future so bright; adding that the council will not disappoint them.
Oduntan informed that Ipokia as a town is known for peaceful coexistence, warning that the council would not tolerate any act capable of breaching the peace being enjoyed by indigenes and residents.
