The Nigerian police recruitment was supposed to start today April 1, but it seems the process was more or less an 'April fool' scenario as the website for the recruitment exercise has been shutdown since morning.
Nobody has been able to log in to the site that has been said to be for free application of interested persons into the Nigerian Police Force.
Our reporter who visited the site www.psc.gov.ng said the response from the server was that the account has been suspended.
The Nigerian police has yet to issue a statement about this development.
The police has said it would commence the recruitment of 10,000 policemen today, April 1, 2016.
