Eid-el-Kabir: OKB urges Muslims to imbibe spirit of forgiveness, sacrifice

The Balogun 'Oje' of Ẹ̀gbá Gbàdúrà land, Chief Owolabi Kola-Balogun (OKB) has congratulated Muslim faithfuls in Abeokuta South Federal Constituency and Ogun state at large on the celebration of this year's Eid-el-Kabir, urging them to imbibe the spirit of forgiveness, sacrifice and selfless service as these are the main reasons for the season.

In his goodwill message signed by the Coordinator of OKB Volunteers Movement, Prince Ade M. Asade, Kola Balogun stated that the adherents of Islamic faith should be guided by the spirit of the season, which was a symbolic demonstration of total obedience to the will of Allah, kindness to one another and service to humanity as exhibited by Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham).

Eid-el-Kabir, according to the philanthropist, goes beyond festivities but rather a moment to embrace love, eschew bitterness and offer prayers for genuine peace, unity and progress of Nigeria.

"OKB wishes all a blessed, peaceful and prosperous Eid-el-Kabir celebration." Asade said.
