A Special Assistant to Governor Ibikunle Amosun, Princess Olapeju Shote, has assured indigenes of Ijebu-Ode Federal Constituency that she would give them proper and adequate representation if given the opportunity to represent them at the National Assembly.
Shote disclosed this during a chat with our correspondent at Ijebu-Ode recently.
The Ijebu-Ode-born politician is aspiring for a seat at the Federal House of Representatives under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, assuring her people that "I won't let you down."
Shote, a woman with piety and modesty, it was learnt, is making concerted efforts to give other women a voice in the parliament and to make sure the 35% affirmative action for women in politics is achieved.
She appreciated Gov. Amosun for giving women a chance in his government, adding that the governor believed in equality and equity.
While speaking about the Chances of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming 2019 elections, Shote said " we are going to win."
"We have done the work. Our work is speaking throughout the state and it will surely give us a victorious outing in 2019. I'm very sure."
